Seems like I’m reading more about enzymes in the last 6 months than I have in the last 6 years.
We’ve been using them directly and in enzyme laced carpet cleaning chemicals for the 20 years I’ve been in the business.
Here’s an article that is a really good Q and A about the science and the application of enzymes in odor control.
All the discussions are good – but the one I want to try is attacking bathroom grout odors with a flood of an enzyme product. We’ve been using primarily acid formulations of different kinds – with mixed success. Besides the safety and “green” issues, if this is more effective it will be a “win – win – win ”
